Fort Caspar Tours

by Lisa Lauderdale ~ October 26th, 2010

10 PRSC members, 3 Fort Caspar staff, 120+ people taking the tour, 5 hours of controlled chaos = ghost stories extravaganza!

What a fantastic evening!  Initially, the commissary wasn’t on the agenda for this evening.  We opened it up because some people said they felt “weird” in there.  It’s a good thing we did!  Most of the activity took place in this itty, bitty little building.  Flashlight sessions that lasted for nearly 15 minutes and k-II hits were the norm!  Keep your eyes open for the videos of the flashlight sessions, they’re coming as soon as I review them!  We have reviewed the audio for any odd/unexplainable voices or sounds but we have come up with nothing.  It’s difficult because if something did show up, we pretty much have to throw it out because of the amount of noise contamination between the four tours that were on the grounds at any given time.

Because of the interest the last two years, we’ve spoken with the Fort Caspar Museum staff about opening up a second night of tours.  It’s looking pretty good!

We’d like to thank everyone for coming out Saturday evening and spending an hour with us in hopes of having an awesome paranormal experience.  For some of you, you got it!  For others, maybe not so much.  Hopefully you try again next year!
