Goodbye

by Lisa Lauderdale ~ October 29th, 2012

Deciding to leave the group I founded five years ago and turn it over to a new leader was a difficult decision.  I knew I wanted to do it – I just had a hard time letting go.  Letting go meant letting the group chart a new course.  Letting other people take what you started and mold it into something different.

But it’s time.  Time for people to rekindle their passion and go off in new directions. To try new things and remember why they were interested in the paranormal to begin with.

I know this is the right time for me.  It is cathartic.

So good luck to everyone.  Please know you all will have a special place in my heart.  Those of you who followed me into creepy locations, trusted my judgment, laughed at my dorkiness.  I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people.  Even the ones that didn’t stay – everyone taught me something.  Know the value of who you are and what you do.  You may not know the effect you have on people but trust in yourselves.  What you do is important.

Here’s to new experiences!
